Adaptogenics has a need for a graduate or advanced electrical engineering student
with experience and passion for embedded system processor implementation.
Project may lead to a full time position in a startup as the lead hardware and software engineer.

Student will help to develop an apparatus for performing acupuncture on a patient by means of laser radiation.
A customized ERD will be created to deliver laser radiation that will be generated either through direct contact laser
diodes or through the use of optic strands. The device will be focused on specific acupuncture points within the ear that
are known to affect pain, Post Traumatic Stress disorders, opiod addiction and other ailments.

Requirements (only serious applicants should apply)
The student shall be skilled in the following EE skills:

  • Digital control of transistor outputs
  • Experience with C++ software in an embedded processor environment
  • Experience with creating software and hardware development systems
  • Ability to understand and implement development software tools from scratch based software and hardware tools provided by the vendor
  • Ability to interpret software specifications and develop software design documentation
  • Experience with hardware prototyping
  • Ability to develop schematics suitable for submission to create prototype SMT circuit boards

*Initially a Silicon Labs Gecko 32 bit UP system has selected for the development environment. Prior experience with this product and hardware features are a strong prerequisite.*
